Incorporated in 1984, the Adams Foundation is a private, charitable organization that has contributed to numerous philanthropic causes, primarily in the Baltimore area. Through the work of the Foundation, Mr. and Mrs. Adams have dedicated their resources to improving the lives of young people by assisting with college educational expenses. In this way, the Foundation helps educate students who will, in turn, stimulate business leadership and foster expanded economic development within Baltimore's African-American community.

Through the Adams Future Business Leader Scholarship, established in 1995, the Foundation promotes undergraduate study in business majors. Since its inception, the scholarship has enabled many promising students to achieve their educational goals.

The Foundation also sponsors events which serve to enhance each scholarship recipient's social skills and professionalism.
